Buying or selling a home takes a systematic approach. It’s like baking a cake – how it tastes depends a whole lot on who’s mixing the ingredients, in what sequence and in what proportions…and on their overall talent as a baker.
The same applies when you decide to sell or buy your home yourself, or hire a real estate company to handle it for you. You should expect detailed information…not mere opinions, pretty pictures, and sweet promises.
Furthermore you should definitely expect to get straight answers, not “sales talk” or hype that cajoles you into going with the company or agent who simply says they’re the biggest, or the best, or whatever, to get your business. NONSENSE!
That’s what you need, want, deserve and should insist on.
DO NOT ACCEPT THE SAME OLD SALES PITCH LIKE…
“We’re the biggest company.”
“We sell more homes in your area than anyone.”
“We have the most aggressive marketing plan.”
“No one has more resources than we do.”
“I’m the top agent in the area.”
“We provide the highest level of quality and trust.”
“We’ll do an open house every Sunday.”
Sure…those things sound friendly and nice, and you may even get lucky using such outdated thinking and methods, but you’re not trying to depend on luck here, are you?
Your home is one of the biggest financial and emotional investments, and you should not leave any element to guesswork or chance.
How about relying on skill and precision…instead of just promises? Skill that comes from an understanding of today’s real estate climate. Skill that’s used precisely to your advantage.
MOST COMMONLY ASKED QUESTIONS...
Are you a Discount Realtor?
Yes and no. Yes, in the sense that we charge less than a traditional real estate firm. No, in the sense that there is no sacrifice in the quality or range of our service. Starting from a customized marketing plan to expert negotiating to diligent oversight, there is no other Real Estate Broker that will do a better job of selling your real estate than LaGalbo Realty. Period. The fact that we will also save you thousands of dollars in commissions compared to our competitors is simply a bonus!
Why do I need a Buyer Agent?
Traditionally, real estate companies have represented the seller of a home. As their "agent", the real estate company has a fiduciary obligation to locate a buyer at the best possible price and on the best terms for the seller. The company also has an obligation to "treat the buyer honestly". As the paid representative of the seller, a real estate company and their sales agent clearly are obligated to provide a sale which is most advantageous to that seller. So who will represent your interests when you purchase a home? We will!
As your Buyer Agent, our fiduciary obligation is to you. By representing solely your interests, it is possible for us to locate the right home, negotiate the best price and terms on your behalf, and follow up on all the details of your purchase, right through closing.
